Fitzwilliam Musuem - Hidden Histories
The Fitzwilliam Museum houses world-class collections of works of art and antiquities spanning centuries and civilisations.
Flash Geeks worked closely with Opta Design, who were responsible for designing a new section of their website for the 'Hidden Histories' presentation. Flash Geeks produced a Flash based viewer of people and objects that are included in the exhibition. The viewer not only displays the items alphabetically and by history, but also in an interactive shuffle mode.
In order to maximise useability Flash Geeks also created a JavaScript/DHTML based alternative version. This was carefully produced to replicate the flash versions functionality and design.
